Silver Glow's Cavern - a My Little Pony collection site

About Sitting G3 Fluttershy

Hello! I'm Dreamer, although my username can be variations of that (StarDreamer, NightDreamer, whatever's available). I have been collecting My Little Pony since around 1998, when I received an Ivy and Morning Glory figure. I was hardly a serious collector back then, with my focus picking up around halfway through G3. It was around that time that I started investigating G1, and began collecting those too. I continued onto G4, but the serious collector in me fizzled out around halfway with the amount of re-release ponies, and I started collecting Fluttershy only. Although I tried to get into G5, I sadly found myself unable to, primarily due to the re-release toys (again). I don't collect Equestria Girls as they creep me out (as if their filenames don't make that obvious), but I'm not gonna turn Fluttershys away if they end up in my possession.

This site is primarily dedicated to some pony 'armies' that I've obtained over the years, but in time perhaps I'd like to showcase my full collection which is a lot more varied and colourful.

Whilst I'll gladly accept unboxed items, I have a love for keeping things in their original packaging, not for the sake of value, but for the sake of preserving them for as long as I can. Also, I just think they look neat when they're in the original packaging!

I reside in the UK and as such, a lot of my exclusives are European based. A lot of the G3-G4 items have come directly from the stores when it was released. Sometimes on discount. Others have been through regular car booting (flea markets) and charity / thrift stores. A few items also came to me via trading with others, or online purchases.

Other than pony collecting, my main hobbies are gaming (Dragon Quest and Sonic the Hedgehog are my favourites), videogame coding (currently working on an RPG using Godot), writing, and photography.

Q: Would you sell anything on this site?
A: All of my sales items can be found on the My Little Pony Trading Post, here. Items found on this site are not for sale, but duplicates may end up over there.

Q: I have an item you don't have, you want it?
A: I should warn you that I'm not loaded. But yes, I'm probably interested. Visit contact to see about doing just that.

Q: Can I use your photos?
A: If they're being used on a 'not for profit' website, yes, but please link back to this site somewhere on the page they're being used. I'm also fine with people using them for the purpose of a wishlist (no link back needed for that).
Please do not use my photos to advertise items you have for sale. If your site features adverts, please contact me before using these images first.

Q: About those pixel ponies/Hasbro images on-site....
A: All pixel ponies were edited from the official Hasbro sprites, except for Starsong who was used as a main base for the others. I'd prefer you not to use them in any sort of 'pixel compilation' style site, but feel free to borrow them for other decoration.
The image of Silver Glow in Fun Fairy's pose was modified by me, I'd prefer it to stay on this site for now. The Hasbro images of Firefly, Ivy and Hitch on their collection pages were recoloured by me. They're not the best quality, but feel free to use those as you wish. Other images have simply had the background removed and perhaps received minor touch ups. Go ahead and take them if you'd like (but wikis should probably be aware that they're edited).

Q: Where did the left sidebar go?!
A: The left side bar is intentionally only present on the main page, primarily to help maximise the amount of space for the collection images. For pages like this, it's left out due to consistency. And because it would be a pain to modify multiple pages for one minor change.
